The Horizon Computer Aided Binding System (CABS) 5000 Perfect Binding Line.With make-readies in minutes, production speeds of up to 5,200 bph, assured product integrity and a superior quality finish all packed into one user-friendly compact system, the new CABS-5000 makes high production perfect binding, book and magazine production simple and affordable for trade houses and large commercial printers alike.

BQ470
The Horizon BQ-470 is a fully-automated four-clamp perfect binder. The BQ-470 is the latest in an expanding line of products that draw on Horizon’s core competence of providing affordable automation in print finishing.
Standard features include an intelligent 10.4" touch-screen control console, newly-developed adhesive application and side-gluing system, automatic air-suction cover feeding with in-line creasing, job programming, and same-location loading and unloading for easier single-person operation. The BQ-470, with its state-of-the-art design, compact configuration, and full automation, is positioned to meet the demands of the short to mid-run book market.
It produces up to 1,350 superior-quality perfect bound books per hour, with four clamps that travel on a vertical elliptical track. The BQ-470 can bind books up to 65mm thick, and interchangeable glue tanks support both EVA and PUR adhesives to meet varying customer requirements.

BQ270
The Horizon BQ270 is a fully automated single-clamp perfect binder designed for simple, single-person production of up to 500 books per hour.

HT30
The Horizon HT30 robotic trimmer is the perfect accompanyment to your BQ270/470 perfect binder.
Going about it's work totally unattended and utilising a single knife the HT30 accuarately trims all three sides at up to 200 cycles per hour. Now it is possible for a single operator to bind and trim books at the same time!
As usual the HT 30 features Horizon's intuitive and fully automated set up using a touch screen console. Up to 12” of books can be loaded into the in-feed hopper, where books are automatically fed. Then precision stepper motors accurately position all guides and clamps to insure professional quality cutting.
