Heavy Duty

Itotec's range of eRC guillotines embody all the hallmarks of modern Japanese manufacturing elegance, common sense, ergonomics, reliability and affordability. Availabile in 100,115,137 and 160cm cut sizes these guillotines provide heavy duty cutting safely, productively and with ultimate ease of operation.

Automated paper handling systems (jogging, loading and unloading) are available enabling these guillotines to be built up into highly productive full cutting lines. See the brochures below for details.

The following features come as standard with The Itotec eRC range of guillotines:

• The eRC cutter is CIP4 compatible. In fact, Itoh was a very early adopter of the CIP4 standards.
• The knife can be easily and safely changed by a single operator.
• The built-in air table enables the operator to efficiently and easily manipulate heavy and bulky stock. The chrome surface of the table cannot rust.
• A magnetic clutch and brake is of the spring-closing type, which does not drive the knife -- even at a sudden power suspension -- and is free from the usual troubles associated with carbon brush. (No carbon brush is used in the machine.)
• All major lubrication points are lubricated by the central lubrication pump.
• A set of infra-red light beams is projected in front of the cutting zone just above the table to avoid accidents.
• An optical cutting line is illuminated across the knife width. This allows the machine operator to position material to be cut without having to lower the clamp.
• The double-ended knife pull system ensures an even cut from end to end and excellent all-round knife-cutting performance.
