AFC-566FG

The AFC-566FG is THE ultra automated, space efficient high performance B2 folder. 17 unique fold patterns which are enabled through 6 fold buckles, a cross knife and 2 further fold buckles under the knife, can be automatically set up in 15 seconds through a full colour LCD screen. Unlike other Horizon folders even the setting of roller gaps is automated (by inserting a single sheet of the stock being folded into a single caliper). This model also features a wireless remote control for even more convenient operation.

With combination steel and polyurethane rollers and Horizon's advanced and super reliable rotary suction feed system, fast, sharp and consistent folding is assured. AFC-564A & AFC-566A

The hugely popularAFC-564A is a B2 format folder with 4-buckles (the AFC-566A has 6-buckles) and a cross knife with 2 further buckles.

It can accomodate up to 14 fold patterns all of which are set by simply touching the icon for desired fold pattern and inputting the paper size on the large LCD touch-screen.

High production speed (belt speed 230 m/min., 35,000 sheets/hr. (A4), 43,000 sheets/hr. (A5 -parallel fold). The automated set-up takes just 14 seconds. The LCD touch-screen prompts the operator through all remaining settings, for fast, efficient production. All adjustments are user-friendly and require minimal skill or training.

The AFC-564/566A series lets you memorize up to 100 different job settings, for quick and easy restart of regular jobs.

Popular, compact 2 (EF 35) or 4-buckle system (EF 354) feeding up to 30,000 sheets per hour (A4 fold). Max sheet size of 650mmx350mm. A mini compressor comes as standard for suction feeding and blower motor sheet separation. This ensures higher reliability in operation.

It's shown here with the optional cross-knife buckle (KTU-35) making it suitable for direct mail folding. The precision KTU unit also features handy perforation and scoring functions.
