National sign, display, and graphics businesses are encouraged to enter the 2024 National Sign & Graphics Awards.

Held biennially, the Australian Sign & Graphics Association’s (ASGA) National Sign & Graphics Awards recognises and rewards sign companies for excellence in modern, digital and traditional signage. The Awards showcases established and burgeoning talent in the Australian industry.

This year leading supplier Currie Group is naming rights Diamond Sponsor of the event while Gold Sponsors include Avery Dennison, Graphic Art Mart, Orafol, Spandex and Visual Connections. Silver Sponsors include SMIB, and Bronze Sponsors include Ball & Doggett and Pozitive.

Mick Harrold, President of ASGA, encourages all businesses to take up the opportunity to enter and says there are a raft of benefits.

“Awards provide a great opportunity for businesses to showcase their teams’ accomplishments and also promote their capabilities in a competitive market,” he said.

“Entering is a real vote of confidence in your people, boosting morale and demonstrating the quality of your work to your clients. The recognition you receive will be an invaluable marketing tool for your business, providing tangible recognition of your abilities and building confidence and credibility with current and potential customers.”

Judging for the National Sign & Graphics Awards takes place later in the year, and the winners are recognised at a gala Presentation Dinner at Doltone House, Hyde Park, Sydney, on Friday, 6 September 2024.

“Over the years, the biennial Awards Presentation has become the premier event on the sign and graphics industry calendar, where we come together to recognise our achievements and celebrate our exciting and dynamic sector,” Harrold said.

“If you’re proud of the work you’ve done over the past couple of years, take a bit of time and submit an entry. If you’re a supplier, think about supporting your industry by sponsoring the Awards. And for everyone involved in the sector, put the date of the Gala Dinner in your diary now and make sure you attend, bring your team, and host your customers; it’s going to be a grand celebration.

“It is said often, but it is worth repeating that, of course, events like these would not be possible without the generous support of industry leaders. We sincerely thank Currie Group and our other sponsors this year for their support of our industry,” Harrold adds.

Paul Whitehead, Business Unit Manager – Sign & Display, Currie Group, said, “At Currie Group, we believe in showcasing excellence and fostering innovation.

“Our decision to take Diamond sponsorship at the upcoming ASGA Gala Dinner and Awards Night reflects our commitment to supporting the dynamic sign industry.

“Like diamonds, we value the brilliance, precision, and enduring quality that define both our partnership with ASGA and the transformative power of print. We look forward to both seeing and celebrating this year’s entries.”
