The future of flexible packaging by Karlville and HP

Karlville has partnered with HP to showcase the Digital Pouch Factory, amazing Labelexpo visitors with their equipment printing, laminating, slitting and pouching, all within 45 minutes.

The company uses the latest generation of the best-selling compact KS-SUP-400 pouch machine, utilising thermal lamination technology for high-strength bonds without cure time, as no adhesive is required.

Karlville says the machine has the fastest set-up in the industry, with very little start-up scraps and high production speed, resulting in the best pouch machine fit for both minimum pouch quantity and long-run production orders. It is showcased for the first time, manufacturing short-run custom-shaped pouches with an innovative toolless system.

Karlville Swiss wants to redraw once again the perimeters of sustainability in the pouch production process with a cutting-edge machine in terms of low operating costs and consumption, limited footprint and low material dispersion. Therefore, it is finally capable of being a sustainable machine for sustainable pouches.

For shrink sleeves, Karlville Converting displays its latest seamer and inspection combination.
