ABG's market-leading unwind technology is helping to deliver enhanced product quality all around the world. This combined with the improved productivity and reduced material waste means the NSU is the perfect partner for any label press. ABG Non-stop unwinders are configurable in both narrow and wide web formats to increase productivity and efficiency in the printing and converting processes as well as reduce waste with the nonstop feeding of web materials. The NSU is compatible with both the Digicon Series 3 and Omega converters as well as other non-ABG machines. Non-stop production is achieved by automatically butt splicing the leading roll edge of a new roll to the trailing end of the current, running roll without any drop in process speed. The machine is highly efficient and ensures as little roll material is wasted as possible during this process. The NSU is fully compatible with ABG's camera inspection technology to further ensure product quality and further improve the capabilities of this already highly capable machine.

Karlville K2 Seamer for Shrink Sleeve Converting

This stand alone machine operates at 300 meter per minute and forms the sleeves via an adjustable forming section. The machine is available in 300mm and 400mm lay-flat models. The machine features fast changeover rewind and unwind air shafts.

The C1 series is the ideal shrink sleeve cutting machine that allows converters to offer end users cut sleeves for manual sleeve application. The CUT Series uses a pillar type cutting block for high speed, accurate cutting to 350–450 pieces per minute.

Schobertechnologies RSM-DIGI-VARICUT

Vector technology for digitally printed materials to manufacture IML labels & Folding Cartons. The RSM-DIGI-VARICUT is equipped with a new Generation of hybrid drive technology for the rotary converting of digitally printed packaging materials. A combination of continuous & vector drive technology-in re-registration mode - allows format independent converting by the use of a single tool circumference. The RSM-DIGI-VARICUT is based on modular platform, available for different working width (max. working width currently 850 mm, max. format length 1220 mm). The standard configuration of the RSM-DIGI-VARICUT includes a vacuum controlled delivery table. A high speed programmable robot-automated stacking and counting system (Spider) which combines extreme acceleration, velocity and precision at continuous web speed of up to 50 m/min can be added. The Spider is designed to pile up different types of products combined within the same printing image. They can be heavily nested or combined - i.e. very large/long with small products. Product specific, fast interchangeable pick-up plates take up products at synchronized speed and stack them into a dual piling cassette system - non-stop. A 100% product inspection system with defective product discharge is available in addition. The RSM-DIGI-VARICUT is-due to its advanced design - ready to meet the specific demands of the digital market to cope new business challenges.
