ABG Press Release - 12th August 2025
Leading finishing equipment manufacturer, A B Graphic International (ABG), will showcase its latest customer-driven innovations on stand 3E41 at Labelexpo Europe 2025, taking place from 16-19 September 2025 at Fira de Barcelona - Gran Via, Spain. With a strong focus on automation, efficiency and delivering complete end-to-end solutions, ABG promises an engaging experience across its own stand and in collaboration with HP, who are exhibiting on stands 5E25 and 5D21.
Shaped by customer feedback, ABG continues to deliver technologies that reduce operator input, minimise downtime and increase productivity. Among the highlights will be the new AMS (Automatic Matrix Stripping) module, featured on both a Converter at ABG’s stand and a Digicon at HP’s, which simplifies material waste handling for less manual intervention and offers a variety of waste disposal options. Visitors can also see the new DigiLase Duo, which has dual lasers and now includes the innovative new Repeat Flow functionality. This addition enables seamless transition between different intermittent cutting shapes, increasing flexibility, productivity and cutting speeds. Two live jobs will run throughout the show to showcase these capabilities.
The exhibition will also feature ABG’s DigiLite with ABG Connect, which demonstrates an automatic set-up process, making machine set-up faster and more efficient. This system will be available for viewing at the HP stand.
Re-register lamination will also be showcased on ABG’s Digicon with their all new ABG InkJet module, demonstrating the capability to print variable data directly onto the adhesive layer. This feature is perfect for multi-layer labels, which are increasingly needed to meet the requirements of new legislative labelling standards.
ABG continues to innovate across various applications, demonstrating how converters can add value and diversify their offerings. This includes RFID insertion for intelligent labelling and track-and-trace solutions, shrink sleeve applications for full-body branding and packaging versatility and booklet machines to produce multi-layered, information-rich labels. These developments highlight ABG’s ability to offer more than just label finishing, enabling converters to explore new markets and revenue streams.
Across both the ABG and HP stands, there will be an impressive 14 machines in operation - 10 ABG and 4 HP - including non-stop winders for the HP Indigo V12 Digital Press. Live demonstrations and expert-led presentations will cover the latest innovations in automation and workflow integration, linerless solutions, automated packaging lines and FlexPack developments.
In addition to the full line-up of innovations, ABG will also unveil its new Flex Pack division in partnership with an exciting new collaborator, marking a significant step forward in ABG’s flexible packaging offering. This announcement emphasises ABG’s ambition to bring further innovation to its portfolio, expanding comprehensive packaging options for its customers.
“Our mission has always been to innovate in ways that deliver real value for our customers,” said Matt Burton, ABG’s global sales director. “We’re not just innovating in one area, we’re introducing advances in automation, laser cutting, inkJet technology and expanding into automated packaging lines. This year, we’re stepping up our efforts with new end-to-end solutions that help customers overcome challenges, reduce production bottlenecks and ultimately grow their business. It’s all about giving customers more capability, greater efficiency and increased control, wherever they operate.”
