Currie Group CEO Rob Mesaros has announced the addition of new brands and products, further strengthening the company’s end-to-end solutions.

Effective from 1 July 2026, three business units previously within the Aldus Group – Paragon Inks, API Foils as well as Pad Printing, acquired as part of the Milford Astor business, will transfer across, and be managed by Currie Group.

In an exclusive interview with Mesaros, he told Sprinter that this was the next logical step for Currie Group that has been operating as a standalone organisation within the broader Aldus Group of companies.

“We have been undertaking an extensive process of portfolio evaluation. As a result, Currie Group will now manage and be responsible for foils, thermal transfer ribbons, Paragon flexographic Inks and industrial decorating & printing solutions,” Mesaros said.

“We will bring those businesses into Currie Group from 1 July 2026, as well as integrate them into our leadership and go-to-market structure.

“This decision was customer-focused with the goal to expand the labels and packaging portfolio to include these three product categories that will come under the expanded responsibility of Mark Daws, as the head of labels and packaging A/NZ.”

“All of our commercial digital portfolio, commercial finishing equipment and lithographic consumables products will be rolled up into a new Commercial and Sign & Display group that will be led by Paul Whitehead. Paul will also continue to lead the existing sign and display business.

“Our portfolio is expanding and as a result this requires an adjustment to our go-to-market strategy in Australia and New Zealand.

“All of these product categories require deep domain expertise and focus. Appropriate appointments will be made to ensure we have the depth of specialists and market coverage.

“The formation of the new Commercial and Sign & Display group supports the strong growth and evolution of both market segments.

“Within the labels and packaging side of the business, we now have the ability to bring consumables to our customers with inks and foils for the first time in the history of Currie Group. This is a perfect example of the synergies that have been derived for Currie Group as part of an Aldus Group of companies.

“This is another important step in the evolution of Currie Group,” Mesaros said.

“We have always focused on bringing together leading technologies, trusted brands and the strongest service and support capability in the market. The addition of these product categories further strengthens that position and creates new opportunities for our customers across Australia and New Zealand.

“As our portfolio continues to expand, so does our ability to help customers improve productivity, unlock new revenue streams and access the expertise they need from a single trusted partner.”
