Horizon International Inc. was founded over 70 years ago in the time honored and tradition rich city of Kyoto, Japan. Today, Horizon operates a factory in Biwako, Shiga, Japan, the largest facility in the world manufacturing products for the five major paper finishing operations; folding, collating, binding, stitching and cutting.

Horizon BQ-480 Perfect Binder
In addition to dimension-based automation, the BQ-480 features customised automated setup accounting for paper type, signature vs. loose sheet, sewn book blocks, notch binding, and other key factors for higher quality with less effort. Maximum production speed of 800 books per hour for book of one production. (Production speed changes depending on thickness change from book to book.) Supporting both EVA hotmelt glue and PUR hotmelt glue.

Horizon BQ-500 Perfect Binder

Its integrated auto-calculation system, in combination with TOUCH&WORK technology, ensures perfect binding quality at all times, completely without manual adjustments. It can be used for both EVA and PUR hotmelt binding.
Horizon StitchLiner Mark III
The StitchLiner Mark III features expanded booklet size range and increased productivity up to 6,000 booklets per hour. The system can produce a wider range of products, such as A4 landscape booklets and pocket booklets adding expanded application flexibility.
Horizon SPF-200L/FC- 200L Bookletmaker
The system can be configured as a conventional collating system for offset print production and a high-speed sheet feeder for pre-collated digital production.

Horizon VAC-1000/VAC-600H Collators
The VAC-1000/VAC-600H takes advantage of Horizon’s unique feeding technology and continues the Horizon development concept of high speed, high performance and high quality. The VAC-1000/VAC-600H performs a wide range of applications at high productivity, with flexible but powerful programming and user-friendly operation. Horizon’s unique rotary suction feeding system operates effectively on a wide range of paper stocks. The towers can also be placed in-line with Horizon bookletmaking systems.
Horizon VAC-L600H Collator
Expanded paper size capacity to produce A4 landscape booklets with the StitchLiner Mark III and SPF-200L. A maximum 350 (w) x 610 (l) mm sheet size can be loaded in each bin. The optional ESB-L600 extra side blower can be equipped for stable feeding performance especially for large size and heavy weight substrates.
Horizon VAC-L1000 Collator
The VAC-L1000 collator can load up to 10 bins for multi-page booklet production. A maximum 610 x 350mm sheet size can be loaded in each bin to produce A4 landscape booklet with StitchLiner Mark lll and SPF-200L. Feeding performance is improved with smooth air flow and individual DC fan for separation air.
